309LSI MIG Wire is for use when joining materials of a similar composition and also dissimilar stainless steels. It has more silicon content than standard 309L wire, meaning it flows more easily.
- 309L is suitable for joining Stainless Steels to themselves and to carbon or low alloy steels.
- Can be used at temperatures of up to 371°C.
- Reduced carbon levels offer increased resistance to inter-granular corrosion.
- 309Lsi is suitable for joining material of similar composition and also dissimilar Stainless Steels.
- Contains higher Chromium and Nickel. High Silicon levels improve weld pool fluidity.
