1.6mm 2% Thoriated Tungsten – RED

Thoriated Tungsten Electrodes give a stable arc and easy arc starting. They also provide resistance to contamination. Thoriated Tungstens are primarily used for DC welding, as when used with AC welding they have a tendency to split. Thoriated Tungstens are also a low-level radioactive hazard.
