The GYS PROTIG 201 AC/DC is a professional TIG welder, suitable for welding a wide variety of metals up to 4mm thick. It is for high precision work in fabrication, pipework or maintenance.

  • TIG DC Pulse - gives better control of the weld pool and limits the temperature, helping to avoid distortion when welding thin sheet steel, stainless steel, copper and copper alloys, and titanium
  • TIG DC Spot - for tack welding steel, stainless steel, copper and copper alloys, and titanium
  • TIG AC Easy - makes the machine more user friendly, with the user only having to select the tungsten thickness and the machine selecting the other settings automatically when welding aluminium and its alloys
  • TIG AC Standard - for welding aluminium and its alloys
  • TIG AC Spot - for tack welding aluminium and its alloys

  • MMA Standard - for use with basic or rutile electrodes up to 4mm thick
